It is very special to the people.

mouths zipped at the gates

no sitting on over peuple

Final Activity:I

Write a reflection on your day spent at Tuhuru Marae.  What have you learnt? What did you enjoy the most? What was a challenge?  Do you feel that you know a little more about Te Ao Maori? What are you most proud of doing today?  Is there anything that you now want to learn more about?

We went to the marae and ate apple and oranges and pies they were good.

maori culture is special because is part of the spin . I smude  pant and wod tips. I felt the carvings and they felt bumpy. I heard the river making noises. I learnt about the stars in the marae.

  1. Kia-Ora! I am Carrie from Papakura Central School.
I really enjoyed your reflections on your Powhiri adventure. Next time you might want to make things smaller and delete some of the extra things that you dont need. The writing goes off the page a little so beware of that you might want to add a title as well.
Other than that your post is pretty sweet.
    Thanks Carrie.

Thank-you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comment.
